Titans Eve Interview
1. How is the touring life these days?
Oh it never really changes. Drive, play, drink, sleep haha.
2. Titans Eve is going on the road with Arch Enemy I am sure this will be fun?
Oh yeah, we’re very big fans of Arch Enemy. This is gonna be Epic!
3. The equipment and instruments used on stage would they be mostly the same as the album?
For the most part. The guitars are the same. We use a different amp configuration live.
4. While on the road do you find time to practice your instrument?
There’s always a lot of time to pick up the guitar and fiddle with some licks. Especially when you warm up before playing.
5. What would be some the amplifiers and guitars used in the recording to create the tones?
We record through a Peavey 5150 and use Ibanez and Jackson guitars. And of course some effects.
6. What do you think of the music industry today and where it is going?
The industry has changed. And only the strong or crazy survive. People need to tour and basically DIY absolutely everything.
7. Would you say the health of the Metal scene is becoming stronger?
It’s really hard to say, I think there will always be a core of supporters regardless of whats happening in the world. And that core keeps everything going.
8. What were your earliest influences?
Honestly… Nu metal. Being a young kid in North America in the late 90’s its hard to avoid.
9. What would be some of your main influences today?
Oh still all the old classics in rotation. Maiden, Metallica, Gothenburg bands. That sort of thing.
10. Where do you see Music in 100 years from now?
3D concerts, and a huge resurgence for live broadcasted shows all over the world with new hologram technology.
