It was a lot of fun. Can’t wait to get out and play these songs live.
What influenced you on “The Devils Cut”?
Alcohol. No really, my voice gets stretched in so many different directions. My career has been pretty diverse…I guess you could say I was influenced by my multiple personalities.
Any tours coming soon for White Wizzard?
Looks like we are going to Europe this fall. Look out!

When writing a song, is there such a thing as investing too much time?
If you aren’t a writer, there isn’t anything you can do. Go out and become one. Stop wasting paper until you got it.
What do you think of promo videos nowadays?
I really like porno videos…
Would you say the overall music scene online is getting better with the economy?
It never was bad. The whole thing is overblown.
What were your earliest influences?
Aerosmith, King Diamond, Colm Wilkinson, Slash, Randy Rhoads, Mozart and Marty Friedman. Sebastian Bach’s studio work with Skid Row.
What could we find interesting in your music collection at home?
Les Miserables 20th anniversary DVD.
Could you describe what goes on in a day in your life as a musician on tour?
OK. I wake up. Drink coffee (iced–always iced). That bullshit that shitty, so-called “vocal teachers” tell you about hot beverages being good—nonsense! Hit the busy part of the city to stir up some trouble and bring it to the show. One hour before shows, I have to have coffee then beer (good beer, not shitty beer–an IPA or stout). Get off stage to hangout with fans, then pass out. Do it again…and again…and again…
Where do you see music in 100 years from now?
Like the Bill & Ted movie, but instead of Wyld Stallyns, it’s WHITE WIZZARD!
