Bravo Delta Interview

– What’s new in the world of Bravo Delta?
New album Unbreakable just released February 1st. The single and title track to the album was released in January as well as the official video. We have tour dates being added every day. And we begin filming the video for the second single in 3 weeks. I could go on, but you get the idea. J

– How was it recording your album Unbreakable?
It was long. It took around 3 years from start to finish. But it was happened in that three years that made us stronger and gave us time to really work hard on these songs. We didn’t rush, everything was well thought out, and we couldn’t be happier with the end result.

– How did you go about making the artwork for the album?
I’m a designer, so I created it. We wanted something captivating that fit the theme of the album and songs. Someone standing on a cliff, looking out into the great beyond…the unknown…strong and ready to take it on. Having that “Unbreakable” spirit, ya know?

– When writing a song, is there such a thing as investing too much time?
Absolutely. One can overthink nearly anything. Sometimes you have to go with your initial instinct and run with it.

– Filming the music video for Unbreakable was it a long process?
It was about a ten hour day. We had an amazing crew, so it didn’t seem that long.

– Do you have any tours coming up in the near future?
Yes, we’re in Tucson, AZ on March 22nd, Phoenix, AZ on March 23rd, and we’ll be announcing dates soon for June that’ll take us through Utah, Colorado, Nebraska, Minnesota, Iowa, Illinois, Missouri, Oklahoma, Texas, New Mexico, and Arizona.

– How important is merchandising? Could artists survive without?
Incredibly important. I can’t imagine NOT having merch for those that love the music and want to support the band.

– How important is it for a musician in this generation to spend time on social media?
I believe this is also incredibly important. Being able to connect with people who love what you do and believe in it is pretty rad. Social Media has it’s downsides for sure, but I try to focus on the good in most cases.

– When writing songs, is there a certain instrument you prefer for the creative process?
I usually find, for me, a notebook and an acoustic is all I need.

– Have you always used the same method?
For the most part yes.

– In your opinion, which album would be essential to have if someone were stranded on a deserted island?
Bob Marley & The Wailers: Legend

– Where do you see music in general going in 100 years from now?
Sadly, I’m not sure if I see guitars, bass, and real instruments in music 100 years from now. I’m sure everything will be digital and reproduced.
