Fans of classic Canadian rock have plenty to celebrate as April Wine joins Triumph as special guests on Triumph’s first North American tour in decades. Running from April 22 to June 6, 2026, the tour will hit major cities across Canada and the United States, including Toronto, Halifax, Montreal, Edmonton, Calgary, Chicago, St. Louis, San Antonio, New York, and Boston. This tour reunites two bands with a long shared history. April Wine and Triumph previously toured together in the late 1970s, including a landmark show at San Antonio’s Municipal Auditorium on February 18, 1977—Triumph’s major U.S. breakthrough—and additional Texas dates in 1978 supported by strong airplay from San Antonio’s KISS-FM.
April Wine’s current lineup features Brian Greenway (guitar), Richard Lanthier (bass), Roy Nichol (drums), and Marc Parent (lead vocals, guitar). Formed in 1969, the band has remained a cornerstone of Canadian rock for over five decades, delivering timeless hits such as “Just Between You and Me,” “Sign of the Gypsy Queen,” “Roller,” “I Like to Rock,” “Oowatanite,” and “Rock N Roll Is a Vicious Game.”
Their legacy is reflected in major honors, including inductions into the Canadian Music Industry Hall of Fame (2009), the Canadian Music Hall of Fame (2010), and Canada’s Walk of Fame (2023). Still a powerful live force, April Wine continues to captivate audiences with their melodic, anthemic brand of rock.
In 2026, they return once again to stages across North America—keeping the spirit of classic rock alive.
