– How is it going with A Killer’s Confession these days?

Things are going great, the album was just released digitally and the street date release is coming up May 12th

– How was it recording and writing your debut album Unbroken?

Fast Paced

– How do you build a song up from nothing to become something?

Knowing when it sux hahaha. Try not to fall in love with one idea, do whats right for the song.

– Do you consider album artwork as important now that music is mostly downloaded?

For sure, album art is another art form and a expression of what we are working on.

– How many shows do you play per year on average, and how crazy does the schedule get?

Right now things are just getting moving show wise. We did a headlining tour at the first of the year and we are about to leave for tour with Nonpoint later this month. We plan on staying on the road most of the year and reach as many fans as possible.

– How important is it for a musician in this generation to spend time on social media?

To stay relevant it’s very important the way things are today, but when people see you engaging with fans in person it becomes more real. We do live in a digital world. Just have to keep up with everything and not get stuck on one platform.

– Is the band fans of Spotify and similar streaming services? What are your thoughts on this?

This goes back to the world being digital. Things are just different now more and more people are using digital music. I think most of us in AKC use some form of digital music. The way it is as long as people are listening and enjoying our albums then that’s what we want.

– Which notable bands have you played with throughout the years?

Korn, Rob Zombie, Avenged Sevenfold, GWAR, Gemini Syndrome, Hed(PE), Body Count, Texas Hippie, Suicide Silence, Asking Alexandria, Trivium, Cannibal Corpse, Switched, Stuck mojo, Sevendust, Soil, Wayne Static, Dope, Twisted Method, Motograter, Five Finger Death Punch, Ill Nino.

– What would we be surprised to find in your music collection at home?

The Animals, Beck, Goyte, Ellie Goulding, Dimmu Borgir, Joy Division, Peaches, A Flock of Seagulls, The Civil Wars, DMX, Method Man, NWA, Justin Timberlake, BustaRymes. This list could go on and on.

– Where do you see music in general going in 100 years from now?
