  • The concept behind the violin at the beginning of the album.
  • We discuss the music video for Better Days.
  • Playing some shows with Circle II Circle with Zak Stevens.
  • We talk about guitar tones and what has changed from the years.
  • The band members are Jack Frost, Ronnie Parkes, Johnny Kelly and Anthony Cross.

Jack Frost is the guitarist/founder of the heavy metal band Seven Witches and also a part of The Bronx Casket Company. Frost is also known for playing guitar on Savatage’s tour in support of Poets and Madmen in 2001 and 2002 before being dismissed from the band for unspecified reasons. He is currently touring in Anthrax vocalist Joey Belladonna’s backing band. Jack also currently hosts the annual Ronny dude class at Brookdale College. He also played in a New Jersey based cover band called Diesel which features Taz Marazz of Seven Witches, Mike Lepond of Symphony X on bass and Jim Pepe on lead vocals.

Seven Witches has been one of America’s better exports of classic 80’s-inspired metal for a number of years now, with eight albums released to date. The style here is classic American traditional power metal, reminiscent of bands such as Helstar, Manowar, and Metal Church. The list of past and present members of the band is impressive indeed, linking Seven Witches to practically every other American power metal band in existence.

Seven Witches has been a force in the Hard Rock/Heavy Metal world since 1998 many well-known musicians have been a part of this outfit and the band wouldn’t be what it is today without them. The current lineup has been in place since 2012.
