Frank’s attractive energetic attitude fuses with a gritty deep voice molding him recognizable. His lifestyle and image is not one of party every day and every night as you may think rockers do. Grounded with a hard work ethic and positive image, Palangi consistently crafts fresh creativity providing his fans with new material. Wearing hats of a singer/songwriter, mult-instrumentalist, and self promoter, he still has time interacting through social media and gigs with his dedicated fans.
He says, “I have no plan b on backing down on my dreams.” He states, “Growing up, I’ve dealt with medical issues that has had a major impact on my lifestyle and learning how to adapt and overcome challenges. Somehow it’s let me reroute illness into a strength along with the way I was raised. It lead me to my passion, determination and will to fight on. The music industry itself is tough but doesn’t scare me to break up some doors to achieve my dream.”
Starting his solo project in 2006, learning how to record demos, playing local coffee houses making little money, to growing into a self made full time artist. Gaining ground in the North East U.S, he’s shared stages opening for national acts 3 Doors Down, Aaron Lewis (Staind), FUEL, TRAPT/Candlelight Red/Veer Union, Powerman 5000/HEDPE, Young Guns, HURT, Jess Malin (Former D-Generation singer), IM5 also winning the spot on the Uproar Festival in Saratoga NY sponsored by Ernie Ball opening for Alice in Chains/Jane’s Addiction to popular regional acts including Prospect Hill, Bad Axis, Sirsy, Deluka, and more. He’s received national press features with GuitarWorld.com, Revolver Mag.com, Music Now Magazine, Young Celebrity News, The Examiner.com, Mi2n.com, and more including internet radio, local NY TV performances with Fox23 News, News Channel 13 (NY), TV8, Plattsburgh TV and newspaper features in the Albany Times Union, Saratoga Spotlight News, The Chronicle, The Poststar including winning “BEST IN THE REGION” award in 2011/2012, and “Best Local Solo Musician” Metroland 2015.
