Three Days Grace
Mohegan Sun – February 23, 2019

Three Days Grace, an alt-metal award winning Canadian band started off the night at Mohegan Sun as
the lead in to the night of metal music. They took the stage before the band Disturbed to warm up the
crowd. They did the job and more.

They got the audience jumping and clapping with their driving metal sounds and engaging music.
In their set they included the songs “I Hate Everything About You,” and “Painkiller” which it the audience sang along with and knew well.

Brothers Matt Walst, lead singer and bassisist Brad Walst, Barry Stock on lead guitar, and Neil
Sanderson on Drums. Their setlist included many of Three Days Grace’s hits and songs off their currentalbum release “Outsider.”

They finished up with their hit song “Riot’ as a cheering crowd sang along. Good musicians and their
front man Matt Waist was enthusatic and athletic as he jumped up to the lion casually strolling across the screen beside the drummer before leaping back down to the stage in front of the pumped up crowd. If you get the chance to see them live it’s a good night’s entertainment.
