1. What’s going this year for Stacy Maisenbach?

This year for me is all about transition and reaching a higher level of being.

2. Any new bands or music you are playing with?
I am currently starting a all girl Motley Crüe tribute called Crüella, a Slayer tribute called Angels of Death…and then a original band which the name is remain top secret.

3. What’s your view of Sex Appeal in music?
I love sex appeal in the music industry. I believe its best with a overdose of talent.

4. Will there be any tours lined up for you in 2012?
Touring…damn I really hope so…with any band I would love to travel, play and get paid for it. Hopefully not lose money. Nothing booked currently. Usually this will happen if it does in the spring. Planning will begin.

6. What’s your vision on the Internet as a tool to promote and market Music?

Ah, the Internet …well, I think it’s a great tool …what was said once we are six degrees from knowing each other? Well, I think it’s cut that in half now..lol..anyway, yes it’s a great way to market and have your stalkers watch what your up to. You can also get way more fans by them listening to your music around the world. Which can cut out record companies who are greedy.

7. With all the bands coming out today. Do you keep updated with what comes out online at all?

I actually still kinda go by word of mouth with bands or if someone shares something I will listen. I do have to say if the bands art work is really killer I will for sure listen to the band. I come from a era where we took out record sleeves and looked at them for hours…so, you can’t really get that from the Internet

8. What could we find interesting in your music collection at home?
Ha ha. um I have a lot of my mothers record collection…so there is a lot of hippy shit and some old country, r&b, and of course disco…plus I do have a surfs album..pink toothbrush is my favourite song on there.

9. Could you describe what goes on in a day in your life as a musician?
day in the life…huh, well for me it’s get up get coffee, listen to records, play music, maybe do some art, check the Facebook, and go to friends shows…stay active in the music scene, maybe do my radio podcast called hard candy or do a interview on metalluminati …chat with the girls on what songs to play…and work to maintain stability.

10. How many bass guitars are there in your collection now?
I have three basses right now and all are Ibanez basses…I play my 5 string the most.

11. Any words for future musicians?
I would tell future musicians to first always have fun, don’t compare yourself to others, don’t let anyone tell u who you are, believe in yourself, practice, get ready for a rollercoaster ride, and have no expectations…if you are a true musician no matter what you won’t stop, don’t judge other people because you never know who is going to become your biggest support and play with the right people. Play with your heart not your ego or pride.
