I feel like Roger Fisher is so underrated – he contributed so much to that early Heart sound.

    Roger Fisher…
Not “underated” but “Underappreciated” as one of Rocks Best guitarists of all time. The clean sound was devoid of “sloppiness” and intermingled with styles from psychedelia…to country riffs. I’m thinking about three songs in particular….first Magic Man, Crazy on You, and Barracuda. Just listen to the amazing riffs…rythms, harmonies, and unique varied sounds. You cannot ax top moving to these songs…dancing.
I was fortunate to see “Heart” in concert in 2014. Annie Wilson grabbed the audience by the balls and never let go. Nancy Wilson was not only a very excellent guitarist….but MAN is she still “Hot”!!

  3. Roger is underrated “&” under appreciated, without doubt
The sounds and technique he contributed to Heart were nothing short of Genius. In my opinion, the “Lead Guitar” department, of Heart, was never as brilliant or innovative, after Roger.

Since Heart he has continued to contribute to the music world. A Fabulous Talent! And we share the same hometown of Monroe WA, which I recently learned.

I’m going to see him, tonight, 7/30/15, at Twin Rivers Brewery, in Monroe WA, at 8 pm.
I’m bringing a copy of Heart’s “Dreamboat Annie” , on 8 Track Tape no less, and will be requesting his autograph :)
