What’s new in the world of Grizzly Knows No Remorse?
– Same as usual. Groovin’ around. Not sure what you mean by “The World” but we’re all just fine and dandy :P

How was it recording your album Fat Glasses and The Leather Mustache?
– It was fun and tough at the same time. Since we wanted to make a really outstanding record which we hope our album is, we’ve been working really hard trying to fuck all the limits. Have we done it or not? Fans will decide.

How was it filming the video for We’re Badass Motherfuckers?
– Really weird shit. Filming a music video takes as much energy as recording of an album actually. The process took all day and we’ve been so tired at the end, but the result is definitely worth it.

Do you have any tours coming up in the near future?
– Here in Russia summer is usually a dead season for touring. So there are no plans right now, but we will definitely come back at the stage this fall.

How is the music scene in your area these days? Are clubs still popular?
– Actually the club is the only place where you can listen to some really good Russian music right now. The big scene is filled with overrated assholes. Since there are no Rock music label here, we’re unable to play at big stages which is pretty sad, but anyway, no pain – no gain.

Could you describe some of your earliest influences in life and in music?
– Our lifestyle is something like Punk ‘N’ Party. Music influences are really different – from old school Rock ‘N’ Roll like Motorhead and Guns N’ Roses to new bands like Gallows and Norma Jean.

How important are music videos in the industry today? How do they compare to videos from 20 years ago?
– Not really. It’s a fashion right now. Back then when there was no internet, music videos were more important since everyone was watching TV. Anyway, it’s better to go and watch a live show. There’s nothing like it. Believe us. We dare you.

Vinyl is making a comeback. Do you have a personal preference? Is your band producing on vinyl?
– No. It’s a really cool thing though. We’re just not into that kind of thing.

What is the strangest inspiration you’ve ever had for a song?
– Oh, that’s a tough one. I can’t remember the exact thing but it was something like a religious TV show. I’ve been watching it and since I don’t really like religion I decided to write a really angry and dirty song about it. It’s called “Godstasy”.

Are the equipment and instruments used on stage mostly the same as the ones used on the albums?
– You’re right! We think that music live and on the CD gotta sound pretty much the same. In the way of sound and energy as well. That’s the main reason for it.
